The Chronicles of Avorai
Thomas Pettycoat, Michael Campbell, and Benmont Tench formed the HomeWreckers after accidentally cross-booking in Dimp’s Tavern in Silver Falls. Pettycoat was already a well known historian and performer at the time but wasn’t well known in Silver Falls. He frequented taverns and inns along the main trade routes singing and performing weddings and funerals. Campbell and Tench were childhood friends after an impromptu performance at school. In their teens they performed as the Misfits. After grouping together they remained the Misfits but after several performances and towns changed their name to the Adulterers. They found that this name severely impacted both the size and quality of their audiences and so became the HomeWreckers. Pettycoat was still well known in many areas so again popularity made the decision and Thomas Pettycoat and the HomeWreckers launched into Bard superstardom. The band is also credited with discovering the one and only Gippetto Pinhearl Barrow Rocktoe III, who still cameo’s whenever able. Their combined performance at White Rocks is said by many Bardic historians to be the single greatest modern musical performance ever.
